Tanika Faqir, B.A.
Tanika Faqir is a second-year doctoral student at Alliant International University, CSPP in San Diego. She is a practicum intern at IVAT serving both clinical and forensic clients.
She received her B.A in Psychology from California State University Monterey Bay in 2017 and her M.A is Psychology from Los Angeles Pacific University in 2021. Tanika has experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as those with ADHD and other neurodiverse conditions. Tanika is trained in providing trauma-informed care working with clients who have complex mental health needs including mental illnesses, psychosis, suicidal ideation, substance use, and mood disorders in high acuity settings, providing emergency mental health services
